Welcome to the Richmond High School Family Second Hand Store, established by the RHS Family (Parents Association) as a fundraising venture for the school.

Proceeds of sales retained by RHS Family will go towards The Make A Difference Fund. Thank you for your support.

The establishment of the online RHS Second Hand Store was realised as a result of COVID-19!

 At the time, the newly formed RHS parents and friends’ association (known as RHS Family Association in respect of Mr Colin Simpson, founding principal) created the online solution in place of a physical store during COVID-19 to ensure everyone had access to a second hand option for uniforms.  The online store has continued to thrive since!

Textbook Product Description

To begin with, we are using 1 category for all textbooks and resource materials (70% of original retail price by retailer).

Uniform Product description

We are using 3 tiers of quality to assess what you are purchasing.

1. Brand New. Must have tags attached and not worn (75% of original retail price by retailer).

2. As new. We have washed and dried the items and there is no sign of wear and tear (50% of original retail price by retailer).

3. Good. Some minor scuffing or wear and tear evident. We apply the volunteer test that we would still send our students to school in this item for school photos and for a school-ready presence. 

The online store is run by a very small group of members of RHS Family and are volunteering their time to do so.  

We aim for this store to provide quality, second hand garments and won’t sell any item that we would not allow our child to wear.  Each item is investigated and assigned to the level of quality.
